East West Design started as a small wholesale business trading out of Vietnam in the early 90s, importing outdoor furniture into Perth and regional Western Australia.

By the mid 90s the company began trading direct to the public on a seasonal basis from the old Fort Knox building in Fremantle, which was to become one of the state’s most iconic furniture stores.

Taking note of shifting trends, East West Design rapidly expanded its range for the WA public, importing furniture and homeware from more than 80 suppliers throughout Indonesia, Malaysia, China and Vietnam.

You'll now find East West Design located at its new home in the heart of Fremantle where you can peruse two floors brimming with more than 5,000 products at any given time.

East West Design prides itself on carrying unique, one-off items that you simply won’t find at any other furniture store. As well as continuing to stock up on the most popular lines of furniture, frequent overseas buying trips throughout the year ensure a constant stream of new and original pieces for customers who like that something a little bit different from the mass market.
